Practice electronic prototyping with Arduino
This book on the electronic board Arduino aims to teach the reader a generic approach to electronic prototyping in order to train him to design and manage his own complete projects. It is intended for anyone who already has a first approach of the Arduino board and who wants to deepen his knowledge. Having a basic knowledge of electronics and some programming notions is a plus to take full advantage of this book.
Throughout the chapters, the author presents ten projects that require the use and integration of various components and sensor and actuator circuits. These projects touch on fields as varied as digital art, science, creative leisure, education, robotics or design. They offer a panorama of what it is possible to do with a card Arduino. The reader will be able to create a theremin synthesizer, a music memorization game, an automatic watering system, an oscilloscope, a line-following robot, a multicolored lamp controlled by Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi weather station, an ultrasonic rangefinder, an autonomous hexapod robot or a display device using persistence of vision.
All of these projects, of gradual difficulty, allow for a two-level learning experience. On the hardware side, the reader will be able to decipher a component datasheet to understand its usage constraints and control methods. On the programming side, the reader will be confronted with the use and creation of libraries, the manipulation of specific functions, theinterfacing with different hardware components or theanalysis and processing of signals from sensors.
