Summary

The Verbatim Portable Hard Drive is a high-performance storage solution that uses a high-speed USB 3.0 interface.

The USB 3.0 standard allows for speeds up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed measurements), giving you an ultra-fast data transfer rate.

This easily transportable external drive lets you save and carry all the digital files and documents you need on a daily basis.

It's also compatible with the USB 2.0 ports on your PC or laptop. It requires no external power supply; simply plug it into your computer.

The Nero BackItUp Essentials software, included with the drive, provides enhanced security by allowing you to back up the hard drive of your laptop or PC. BackItUp allows you to back up all your files, folders and drives whenever you want, or schedule automatic backups at a specific time.

It also includes Green Button power-saving software that stops the hard drive from spinning when it's not in use, improving its efficiency and saving energy.

There are different standby settings, but you can also choose the "Never interrupt the drive" option.
