IQaudIO Pi-DAC +

The IQaudIO Pi-DAC + is designedto provide the best possible audio performance with the Raspberry Pi B + / RPi2, fit the Pi's form factor and provide additional access to many of the Pi B +'s 40 channel I/O signals.

The Pi-DAC +'s Phono / RCA connectors have an integral mounting hole providing increased rigidity when used in an enclosure, reducing wear on the headers of the Raspberry Pi due to bending. This, combined with the Pi-DAC +'s HAT mounting holes, aligned with the Raspberry Pi mounting hole, provides a solid coupling without the concern that the audio card will become disconnected from the Raspberry Pi during long term use.

The Pi-DAC + provides support for additional pin headers offering increased flexibility to your project and easy connection to other IQaudio products.

Exposed signals include the Audio L + R output, amp mute, headphone output and the majority of the 40-way connector on Raspberry Pi.

Please note that the Pi-DAC + uses GPIO22 as an amp mute.

Use Raw Linux, Volumio, Raspbmc, RuneAudio, MDP or similar and listen to Internet radio, your own digital music library or streaming music services - all in beautiful audio quality.

The Pi-DAC + easily supports 24-bit/192kHz file formats, but is equally at home with lower quality MP3s that bring your music to life.

IQaudIO Pi-DAC PRO

The IQaudIO Pi-DAC + is compatible with thes latest Raspberry Pi A + / B + AND RPi2. However, it is not compatible with the older Raspberry Pi A and Model B.

With Raspbian's built-in Linux drivers, no kernel recompilation is required and the Pi-DAC PRO is supported by all common audio software. It is also compatible with Pi-AMP +.

Pi-DAC PRO also includes the Pi-DAC headphone amplifier for an all-in-one Full HD audio experience.

Fully HAT compatible with EEPROM support, the Pi-DAC PRO uses the same family of audio chipsets as the Pi-DAC +. Full Linux device driver support is already built into the official Raspbian Linux distribution.

Notes:

• The balanced output is exposed via two headers without adjustment. You will have to solder them yourself.

• Although compatible with Pi-AMP +, an additional 2x5 pin connector must be soldered.

• Standard IQaudIO cases work with the Pi-DAC PRO but no cutout is provided for the balanced output.
