Kitronik Clippable Sensor Card

The Clippable Sensor Card for the micro: bit BBC detects light, objects and can follow lines. The card is directly compatible with the micro: bit BBC and some Kitronik cards, such as the Klip motor card.

The card works by using phototransistors to detect the reflectivity of different surfaces. The Clippable detection board has 3 phototransistor sensors evenly spaced from each other. The sensors provide an analog voltage at the BBC microbit. Five connections are required for full operation. These connections correspond to those of a BBC micro: bit and can be fixed with bolts or crocodile wires.

Coding of MakeCode blocks

Add a set of MakeCode blocks to the editor by selecting the cogwheel at the top right of the editor. Then select "Extensions" from the drop-down menu and in the search bar enter "Kitronik". Choose the tile from the list and the new blocks will be added to the menu in the editor.
