The Prong Soil Moisture Sensor for BBC microbit is a sensor card that can be mounted directly on a BBC microbit to monitor the moisture present in the soil. The two conductive prongs are placed in the soil. Any water or moisture in the soil will lead to an analog voltage readable by the BBC micro: bit.
Prong is powered by the 3V supply of the BBC micro: bit. Use the USB or JST connector of the BBC micro: bit to power the circuit. Prong and the BBC micro: bit can also be powered from the Mi: Power to create a compact standalone unit.
