Designed to offer the best audio performance of the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/RPi2, fit the Pi's form factor and provide additional access to many of the Pi's 40 channel I/O signals allowing for the easy addition of IR sensors, a rotary encoder or I2C peripherals (such as OLED displays) etc.

The DigiAMP+ uses the latest Texas Instruments chipset (TAS5756m) to deliver impressive performance from a single HAT board.

As with other IQaudio products, Linux driver support is already built into Raspbian Linux (using the same device drivers as the Pi-DAC+) as well as many audio and software packages already on the market. RuneAudio / Volumio / Moode / PiCorePlayer / PiMusicBox / OpenELEC and others.

The IQaudIO Pi-DigiAMP + easily supports 24-bit / 192 kHz file formats, but is equally at home with lower quality MP3s and will bring your music to life.

Please note that the Pi-DigiAMP + uses GPIO22 as an amp-mute and when powered up, it is in a muted state.

Pi-DigiAMP + IQaudIO Features:

  • HAT compliant accessory; EEPROM, mounting holes
  • Full-HD audio - playback up to 24 bit / 192 kHz
  • Up to 2x35w crystal clear amplification
  • No soldering required on your Raspberry Pi
  • Integrated hardware volume control (via ALSA)
  • Powers Raspberry Pi directly from the Pi-DigiAMP + power input
  • Linux driver support already provided in Raspbian
  • AMP can be enabled/disabled via GPIO22 from Raspberry Pi
  • Advanced ESD protection
  • Uses I2S digital audio signals to reduce processor load on USB audio solutions

The Pi-DigiAMP + is suitable for the latest Raspberry Pi A + / B + AND RPi2, it is not compatible with older Raspberry Pi A and B models.
