RetroFlag gives a second life to the Megadrive
30 years after the release of the Megadrive in Japan, RetroFlag has decided to relaunch the Megadrive and to propose a new MegaPi Case. After the release of NesPi Case and SuperPi Case, the MegaPi Case comes to pay tribute to the4th generation console of Sega, sold to more than 40 million copies.
A quality reissue
In the line of the cases made by RetroFlag until now, the Megadrive guarantees very good performances and many features. Indeed, inspired by the previous cases, the MegaPi Case will take all the advances and codes and add several improvements. For even more authenticity, several versions of the case will be proposed to match the Japanese, European and American versions of the time.
A case perfectly adapted for Raspberry Pi
On its top cover, the MegaPi Case has a space dedicated to micro-SD cards. Regarding Raspberry compatibility, it fits the different versions: B+, 2B, 3B, 3B+. With its retro controller and vintage design, the MegaPi Case is shaping up to be one of the top products!

_ Visuel: Je suis surpris des finitions de ce boîtier, il est très bien réalisé, pas de bavure ou autre, c'est un plaisir pour les yeux. _ Matériel : Ma Raspberry pi3B+ entre parfaitement dans celui ci. _ Note dissipateur thermique : Attention toutefois à ne pas coller le dissipateur thermique au dessous de la pi3, car celui-ci ne passera pas dans le boîtier (ou alors si vous recyclez un pi3 comme moi, vous devrez le décoller notamment avec un sèche cheveux, assez simplement). _ Très important, subtilitée au montage et démontage : Vous pouvez manuellement ouvrir une partie du boîtier (il faut forcer un peu elle est capricieuse) afin de retirer ou mettre la carte SD, ATTENTION : le boîtier est en deux parties (inférieure et supérieure) si vous devez refermer la partie supérieure ou la retirer N'OUBLIEZ PAS DE RETIRER VOTRE CARTE SD AVANT par la partie du boîtier vous le permettant. Sinon vous briserez votre carte SD à coup sur Recalbox compatible avec le safe shutdown de ce boîtier ce qui en fait une vrai console de salon à part entière ! (pour le safe shutdown de MegaPiCase des tutos sur YouTube son facilement trouvable) Globalement : Totalement satisfait de mon achat et qui offre une deuxième vie à ma pi3B+ après l'achat d'une pi4 Foncez sans hésitation

Le seul bémol c'est qu'il manque les radiateurs et le ventilateur

Pour le prix du boitier je ne m'attendais pas à un produit d'aussi bonne qualité. Agréablement surpris. Faire attention d'insérer la carte SD après le montage du boitier sinon risque de casse. Seul bémol s'il faut en donner un, seuls 2 des 4 pieds sont antidérapants, mais cela est suffisant pour mon usage.
