This USB HUB has four USB 2.0 ports each with a maximum total transmission speed of 480 MBps. All four ports are powered by the standard USB cable. There is also an on/off switch that controls all four USB ports. There is one port for an external power supply, but it is connected directly to the 5V line if you need external power.
These are perfect for expanding your BeagleBone Black, Pi A+ or other single board USB computer to add a bunch of ports. It is also ideal for giving your laptop or computer a few more plug-in options.
