Bearables is a line of woodland-themed wearable LED badges and sensors. Wear the badges alone or connect them to one of the sensors with a wire to animate them. Designed for kids * (suggested 8 years and up) and adult children!
Attach the acorn motion sensor to the Bear badge and when you move the sensor, the LEDs on your badge will light up.
* Contains small parts. Not suitable for children 3 years old or younger. Not a toy. Keep the battery out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

- Using your Bearables badge
- Briefly press the multi-function button on your badge to cycle through the light patterns. Each of the LEDs will light up to indicate which of the 12 patterns is currently selected. Press and hold the button to put your badge into standby mode.
The clever design of the badges and sensors means they are very easy to connect. It doesn't matter which side they're connected to. Just connect one hook on the badge to one hook on the sensor with a wire, then do the same with the other two hooks.
Once a sensor is connected, press and hold the multi-function button to put your badge in trigger mode. Now, when you trigger the sensor, the LED lights on your badge will turn on.
Notes
- Bearable badges and sensors are not waterproof or washable
- Make sure the two wires that connect your Bearables badge and sensor are not touching, keeping in mind that they can touch when the fabric is wrinkled or folded. Nothing bad will happen, the sensor will just not work as it should.
- The hooks on the back can be shorted out without damaging the badge, although this may trigger the LEDs with a sensor. A painted or coated security pin will work better than bare metal.
- A little clear nail polish on the wire around the hook can help give a better, more reliable connection
